Petasites fragrans

Help me identify this plant it is some sort of ground cover that likes shade but becoming very invasive in my garden!

I have this too and am waiting to see if it flowers before I pull it out!! #plantid

@Andreamarie It is horrible, the roots are so thick, like bindweed only worse. Nightmare to remove. I've been here two years and can't remember it flowering

@alison1236 - think it's winter heliotrope. Has fairly uninteresting flowers late winter/early spring and is really invasive.
