This was doing so good. But we got hit with cold nights. Had freeze warning the last 3 night. This is one of many that have some damage. Hope they will all recover.

This hosta really took off. It was a bare root when I got it.

That looks scarily like one of the hostas we just transplanted from the previous owners of our house. It was getting too much sun so never bloomed last year. I am allergic to lily's so I'm hoping it's not!

Went to a outlet nursery today. Got several plants including this bare root of the hosta "Fire Island". It should have yellow green leaves and red stems with lavender flowers.

@ambitiouswolf I would love to see a picture of that once it gets going!

This nursery use to be a regular plant nursery. But they was bought out and now they do mail order/online only. The actual nursery is used now as an outlet for things that they have overstock of or returns. So you do have to be careful and check the plants out especially if it is bare root or packaged to be sent in the mail.
