2016 is the first year I have been able to do any gardening. I live in southwestern Ohio, USA. I love roses, orchids, toad lilies...everything 😁

#succulantsunday. These have grown a lot since I dug them all up out of the ground and removed that stupid biodegradable wrap.

@ambitiouswolf I must agree, I take them off now too as I think they stint growth and don't seem to bio degrade 🙈

Agree. Hate the stuff. Stops water getting to roots and plants die. 🙃

So I planted these a couple years ago. They never did grow much. I thought it was just because the go over taken by other plants at first. Then I realize even the ones in the open were not doing much. So this year I seen them coming up and decided to move them into a planter. When I dug them up I notice they were all planted with that biodegradable wrap. Now I think that wrap was keeping them for growing. I removed all that wrap off and put them in the planter. Hope there is one of each.

I have also noticed that the #biodegradable wrap does not allow the plant roots to grow. Good thing you found it. #advice #nogrowth

@lovestogarden. I never would have guessed that was the issue. Going forward I will always remove that wrap. I will see how they do in the pot is year. If they do well I will find new homes in the ground for them next year.

I found a cotton lavender on sale this year and when I got home I saw it was were poorly because of the biodegradable wrap strangling them.
