I need help with this sick plant. When I bought it, it had severe root rot, probably from over watering. I repotted it.. But the leaves are even more droopy now. I was thinking it was in shock. But I don't want it to die. Help!!!!
@AmyBayless when you repotted, did you clean off all the roots that looked rotted and unhealthy? Did you put it in a pot with proper drainage. And it may be putting energy into making new healthy roots. Make sure you are giving it what it needs and it may Jump back but some plants cannot handle their roots being disturbed too much don't give up quite yet.
@AmyBayless http://www.flowershopnetwork.com/blog/flower-plant-care/plant-care/rubber-plant-care-ficus-elastica/ This should help you, and it said if the leaves are dropping to hold off on fertilizer until the leaves stop dropping.
Listen to @mamasan .... then you can fertilize....i just know it also helps with root shock also... but many not on all plants.... but mix a little bit in with you water that you water it with. There are actually directions on the bag of Epsom salt that tells you the amount to mix in. Some say a couple of teaspoons/tablespoons around the base of the plant but that's maily for outside plants that get rainwater....I'd just mix mine in my watering can. It also helps yellowing of the leaves too.

I mean, the pot has drain holes? How much air does it need? And how do I wash off the roots? @mamasan
@mamasan how do I properly care for it?

@PunkyKy do I just put it in the dirt?
