Rosa 'Ausbath' syn. Rosa 'Wife of Bath'

My very diseased rose William Shakespeare. It's had terrible rust which has made the plant very weak and the blooms are now very small. I've tried to control the rust by removing affected leaves but when the rose next to it started to get rust I decided it was time to dig it up. 😢

What a shame such a rich colour

I know @kathy 😕 It's currently sat in a bucket of water - just debating whether to try it somewhere else away from the other roses 🤔

Try spraying the leaves with milk. Heard of a few members on hear using it for mildew & it may work for other fungal diseases? Nice flower thought all the same despite the rust etc ☺
