Hi all, I cut lots of these mop heads off to add to the garland that's going over the front door for Christmas 🙂🌸🌸🌸 hopefully put the outdoor decorations up today - we don't go mad, just a tree, wreath and garland aswell as some festive looking pots for the daytime 🎄🎄🎄

It's lovely! Mine didn't fade away it just died off flowering 😳@anges When you said your husband got a test without symptoms, was that because of this job? I've checked on Gov website and its says to isolate but no test or free test is needed/available. It's £65 if you go privately 😱I think maybe this could be one of the reasons it's spreading 😷

I was very tempted to cut them off yesterday✂️ but I resisted😊. I cut a off a few old stems . There is so much new growth on them...do you cut them right down to the ground or just the old flowers Ange? @pelly @fuschia

It's too early now Celina, it shouldn't be done until the frosts have finished. I just cut any crossing stems and flower heads off. They bloom on last year's growth so you don't want to cut them right down. Hope this helps @cee 👍

I didn't in the end. Saturday was the only day I could go. Had a few other things I needed to do & as the weather was looking slightly dodgy & having been dozens of times, I gave it a miss this time. I hope you enjoyed it 😊

@jeatacake Right, yes I did enjoy it - probably had something to do with the fact Monty Don was there ☺ next year is its 90th year - theme is Garden Party I think 😊

I take it that you got to see him. Should have far more scope to go next year, as I'll be semi retired soon 😁

@jeatacake Yes I was stood about a foot off him when he was having his photo taken with some of the Gold medal winners at one point. I watched him also when he opened the show and did his stint in the Celebrity Marquee. Yes I hope they go for it next year - it can get a bit 'samey' as I go most years ☺ definitely going next year.
