The #liatris have taken the place of the alliums in this part of the border now 💜💜💜
Gosh they are tall! Mine are only half that height 🤔
😆 Most things in the front garden have grown very tall - I've got an allium that's about 7ft!! 🤣 @vegandmore The borders get plenty of compost and I feed tomorite quite regularly, so no wonder!
Many of my plants are taller this year but some aren’t. My hollyhocks are normally 10ft and more but they are only 6ft this year. The weather has done crazy things to our garden 😁 yes I use manure on mine and feed with liquid seaweed @anges
Love this 💜💜💜
I've grown Hollyhocks for the first time and I was expecting them to be taller actually - no idea why as they've had the same conditions as the other plants in the front garden 🤷♀️ @vegandmore
Thanks Jane, I like the purple fuzziness! 😃 @pelly
Lovely successional planting plan💜
Me too 💜
Thanks Elise 😃💜 @Auricula
Very impressive- think I need some of those
Thanks Sharon, I can see them in your garden 👍😃💜 @sharonhayden

Hi everyone, another lovely morning 😀 Apparently we're getting rain mid afternoon so no need to water 👌 Looking forward to seeing these #liatris - taking over from the alliums 💕💜🤍 Have a marvellous Monday 🙂
It’s supposed to be raining here now but it’s holding off at the moment. Your liatris are a bit ahead of mine. They’re a real favourite of mine 😍
Morning Ange.. rain forecast again after all day yesterday so you’re welcome to it 😂😂☔️☔️
Hi Ange 👋 mine are still relatively small
This is the second year for these, last year they were swamped by Cosmos 🙄 I've not planted anything too close so they can have their moment! 😄 @pelly @jpea
😄 thanks Julie, just had another look and there's no rain now - we'll see! 🙂 @juliesgarden
Morning Ange. Raining here ....going to be a very wet day 👋☔☹
Morning, we had a bit of rain 3 days running last week but not much forecast for this week 💙 @flof1952
@anges mine are in danger of the same from the Sanguisorba that I planted last year but which have grown immensely this year
🤞 they'll be fine @jpea
Morning Ange 👋😊
Good morning Ange pretty in the sunshine 🤗

Picked these up in Lidl before for £1.29 - bargain! 💕
Oh I saw these in my Lidl's today, I love them 💞💞💞
I planted some last year but they got swamped by other things so I'll have another go in a different part of the garden 💕 @pelly
I'm just wondering if I can fit a few in with my purple ones 🤔🤔🤔
I'm sure you could!!! 😆 @pelly

I'll delete my email address from here once I know you have it, thanks 😀 @midnightgardener
@anges Got your email thank you. I'll email you a bit later. Just having a rest as I've showered and cut Millie dogs hair. She's a big girl but so lovely to pamper. She loves the hairdrier!😃
Great, thanks for letting me know - no rush 😊 Wish we had a dog - one day! Sounds fun 🐶 @midnightgardener
@anges It's great fun but now we've got naughty Lucy pup it's twice the naughtiness!😨although Lucy is most def the naughtiest of the two 😊😊
😀😀😀 @midnightgardener
@anges These are great! Love them Ange thank you for posting 😊😊💜💜
Morning everyone, it's blowing a gale this morning 🤬🤣 Hope these don't snap! Have a good day 💜💜💜
Morning Ange.. same here !!
Morning Julie 😃💜 @juliesgarden
Yep blowing a fake on The (Lincolnshire) Edge at the moment, more staking but washing drying lovely and fluffy😂
Oh perfect! Pouring down here, might go and throw some fertiliser on the back garden to green it up a bit - it's like straw in places! 😃 @Auricula
Love these 💜
Me too, reminds me of a purple toilet brush! 😆💜 @hebelover
