Yesterday we cut a piece of the Willow off - some of it hangs over the seating area. The pigeons like to sit in the Willow but 💩 all over the seats and patio! Anyway, it is now clear of any overhanging branches. I gave everything a power wash and emptied my pots of tulips and daffs ready to be re-planted up with bedding plants etc. This is the before 🌳🌳🌳

This evening at sunset. We spent most of yesterday pruning and clearing away in the back garden. 2 big trailer loads and 2 garden bins full! I'll finish tidying the borders this week and re-fill the garden bins when they've been emptied on Tuesday. One more trailer load of pruning next weekend should do it! 😅

We have the same here. Surrounded by large trees but non are physically in our garden, which are great for privacy but does block out the sunlight. From about 3.30pm during the light nights it starts to go shady. @anges
