@Kathy @plantpotty Could this be Euonymus Alatus? Unearthed it from the side of the fence today. It looks a bit bruised and battered.
No sorry. I think it's a photinia or red robin. Does look a bit sorry for itself though. The euonymous is not evergreen so won't have any leaves on. Don't give up, you'll find it :)
