Silene dioica

Took a calculated risk in bringing some wild flowers into garden a few years ago & if this #red campion is anything to go by I think it has repaid me handsomely. I actually kidnapped this plant I was driving back from up north and the roadside was covered with this beautiful plant so I stopped leapt out and grabbed a chunk. Potted it up when I got home and this is the result. Sorry to Council Land Registry or whoever owns roadside plants but I didn't murder it I've given it a good home. 👏🏻

@silvelady I really don't know how real criminals & thieves can live with themselves. After I got back in the car I was beginning to regret it and I still had to drive about 40 odd mile to get home. But it wasn't the cost of them it was the fact that they looked beautiful & I didn't know what it was. I've never stolen anything in my life so I really did feel guilty. 🤔
