Yes, it's usual one, but buds come rare, hardly once in 1-2 years. @drumadixit

You are lucky, ur aloevera get bloom within 1-2 years otherwise it takes 3-4 years to bloom. When it will open it will look like bell.
#aloevera is on its full #bloom #aloe #blooming, it's a great bloom once in 2-3 years.

Wow I have never seen it growing outside in the ground.in England it's a indoors house plant which we may put outside in the summer months
