I took dahlia seeds from a gentleman I garden for and they have done brilliantly. The slugs were a problem for quite a while but most of my plants survived!

Yes slugs are a problem round my dahlias too... Bloody hate them!

@carlos27 They were a complete pain this year! Hundreds of them. I hear it's because of the unusually mild winter we had, they didn't get killed off...

This is my first dahlia to bloom this year. I overwintered the tubers and about half survived so I'm quite pleased. 🌺🌸🌺
