Camphor Laurel. Native to China, Taiwan and Japan. Magnificent tree but condidered an invasive weed in Queensland. Birds spread seeds from the tree through our unique rainforests, competes with and outgrows our native species. Camphor from tree roots leaches into soil, preventing growth of other plants. #camphorlaurel #toowoomba #toowoombafestivalofflowers #treetuesday
