Cinnamomum Camphora

Please help identify this plant . I have several plants that have sprung up in my garden that I didn't put there and would love to know what they are. This looks like some sort of tree possibly.

Gosh Not sure but its healthy whatever it is .The leaves look a bit like camelia but I'm probably way off .Hopefully one of the other fabulous GTers can help ?

Looks like Camphor laurel, a quick growing tree that are almost classed as a weed up in subtropical and warmer areas. Please correct me if I'm wrong! !

Thanks for all the replies , I really appreciate them . It looks like camphor laurel thanks @beleevah . I think I may have to get rid of it as it is classed as an invasive weed .

Does the foliage have a distinctive smell?

Looks like umbrella tree to me. The birds drop seeds from them. Nice indoor plant.
