Amazing i didn't know you could get white in the bird of paradise

@rulphy The plant grows to approximately 7 metres. They are hard to maintain and tend to become untidy because of their robust size. Blooms are dramatic when freshly opened. @belle1988

@rulphy this is the tree version strelitzia nicoli. The bush size ones orange and yellow are strelitzia regina

My nursery had 3 mature nics planted on an angle one after the other to make a structural masterpiece.

@jeatacake they grow large, 15-20 ft so need a lot of room, like big palms. Thick branches make them difficult to keep tidy. Look great though when flowers are in new bloom.

I'm even more amazed! That's incredible. Only ever seen the usual orange ones, which of course are much smaller.
