Just put this 2.5m high beauty in the garden!
Wow!! That would have been a big job! How large is the root ball?
Friends near Geelong have a few. In a big clump. About 4m high.
That's crazy. I can't wait until mine is that big
#brightcolours 90cm wide x 60cm deep. Digging the hole for it in my clay took 4 hours!!!

My newish indoor giant bird of paradise has a new leaf.
Another one of my giant bird of paradise is taking off well...
This was when it was first planted from a pot. Not looking so great now though....
Here in the subtropics these grow to a 6 mt giant. Need a chainsaw to keep it tidy 🤔
Yes I've seen them in Noosa looking absolutely amazing!!! I'm trying to create a noosa style garden here in Victoria. Will take about 10 times longer to grow but should eventually get there. Probably easier just to move to noosa haha

#brightcolours this was the pot it came in. There was pretty much no dirt in it. Just full of roots!
