I don't know. I just ignored mine and at the end of the season I found the dried pods cracked open with seeds inside.

I got to add a plant to the dictionary!!! LOL I saw peony and just got it. Didn't realize it's a hybrid. Even better, we have it beside out other so the ants will find the plant and keep it safe ❤️🌱
