Here’s a cheeky quote for #mondaymotivation 😉 How deep do you plant your daffodils and what’s your soil like? (8” is about 20cm). #daffodil #daffodil-tip

“I plant daffodil bulbs about eight inches deep. As I mentioned before, I don't use a ruler. As a married woman, I know perfectly well what six or eight inches looks like, so it's easy to make a good estimate. This mental measurement makes planting time much more interesting than it might be otherwise.” ― Cassandra Danz, Mrs. Greenthumbs: How I Turned a Boring Yard into a Glorious Garden and How You Can, Too

Thanks @KathyB for sharing!

Thanks for sharing this little burst of sunshine @Scottik1962 - @tesselaarplants do you know which variety it is? 😀

@ausgardentags sorry, we don't know either (we don't sell daffodils unfortunately - Tesselaar Bulbs do)

Beautiful wish i could grow them on the sunshine coast
Looking for some inspiration for some winter colour and/or a Spring display? 🌷@jacaranda in the UK posted this lovely hanging basket. 💛💜💛 It has a fern in the middle with violas around the edge to provide interest all through the winter. More colour is added once the crocus appear followed by the little daffodils. 💚💛💜💛💚 #hangingbasket #springdisplay #wintercolour #viola #daffodil
Thank you for featuring my hanging basket. It was literally thrown together in late autumn and it has looked interesting every day since!
