Cymbidium

Two years ago, almost to the day, inspired by @sieveheadsarah I split this unbelievably pot bound orchid (swipe for evidence!). It is so happy it is flowering to thank me 🥰 Thank you for inspiring me Sarah 😘 #cymbidium

I gave away four so not sure about them but the three I kept all survived. I’m wondering if one of the other two might have a flower bud but could just be new leaves 🤔🤞 @sieveheadsarah

I’m sure I read that they need 3 clumps together to flower 🤔🤔

I suppose so Jane but it was horrible. Of course it wouldn’t have been so bad if I’d done it a few years ago when it stopped flowering but life gets in the way 🙄😬 @pelly

I bet you're glad you've finally done it?? Although my 2 that became 7 are now just 2 😪 but I'm pleased to say 1 is flowering now 😀👍🏼😀

Two is still a 100% increase 😬 and a flower makes it all worth it 🌼 Yes I am pleased but had to wait until it was wet and cold and the guilt had built up to overflowing 😉🙄 @sieveheadsarah
