Hydrangea arborescens 'Annabelle'

17 Aug 2019 • I was thinking I didn’t really have much #white in the garden at the moment. How could I forget #hydrangea-annabelle 💚

I love hydrangea annabelle - mine are now turning pale. lime green. I like the way white shows up in the dusk when looking up the garden.

White is wonderful at dusk and I love Annabelle too. A gardener friend has planted it as a “hedge” for a client to hide his tractors. It looks amazing 💚 @arborescans

It was in too dry a spot last year and was forever struggling and flopping so I moved it and into a pot but I think by then it had given up all hope! 😭 I still have the pink one though ☺️ and that will be lovely, thank you 😘 I shall keep it in a pot from the start then!

Thanks Sam. I think this must be its 3rd or 4th year. It came from a friend's garden & I've already taken a clump to put in another part of the garden. Only just realised I haven't put in any support for it yet... 🙊 💨 😢
