7 Jun 18 • I don’t know the variety of this #poppy but it also thrives in partial shade. The encyclopaedia says they are only hardy to -5C but these (& the red ones) have been in the garden for over 20 years. I don’t give them any winter protection and they’ve survived winters much colder than that 💕🌸💕🌸💕
Lovely colour 💕💗😍
That is just Beautiful Jacqueline @awomanonabike Love the colouring, looks like tissue paper petals 💕😘
Oh lovely Jacqueline. Such a pretty colour. I think they are pretty tough and don’t mind a bit of cold.
It's just beautiful Jacqueline 💕🌸
It is isn’t it Christine. Deep but pastel at the same time 🌸 @grandmagizzy
They look so delicate don’t they, but they’re just pretending 😉😊 @jadojado29
I completely agree Nicola. I leave the flowers to go to seed and it doesn’t seem to weaken them at all either. Plus I get more popping up in unexpected places 👍😊 @jendren
Thanks Jane 💕 @pelly
It's gawjus too 💓💗💓💗
That’s absolutely gorgeous!
Just thinking of you out on a walk in staveley tomorrow and going to pub for tea there not sure if it's near you 😄 will be nice to see your countryside on drive up there 😁
These two poppies had been knocked off when still tightly closed buds, so I trimmed their ends and put them in a vase expecting them to curl up and die…but they didn’t 🌸🌸
They look like beautiful tissue paper creations 💗💗💗
They do don’t they! 😃 @pelly
