Wonderful! Is that a hollyhock you have growing up with them? What a good idea, as mine often look tatty once the flowers have gone. Btw these are oriental poppies (Papaver orientale) not Hymolecon Japonicum, which is a woodland plant only 20-30 cm high 😬
The hollyhock being there is purely coincidental. A happy mistake! 😁 Not too much planning went on with the planting! I did wonder about the way I had categorised these poppies though, as I have always known these as Japanese poppies, but this was the type which fits that name, but looks nothing like the photo (with yellow flowers) which comes up! @awomanonabike
A great happy mistake! I guess it’s the downside of knowing plants by their common names - everyone has different ones! Japanese is oriental though... 😉😬
First white one to open 😊
She’s gorgeous 😍😍

True! Just got to figure out how to change the name on here now 🤔 @awomanonabike
If you go to your plants list and find it there, you then click on the pencil and it gives you “Change encyclopaedia link” as a choice. 👍
Thanks Jacqueline. Done it! 👍 @awomanonabike
Morning Jeff the white one looks like royal wedding 👌🏻
