I find this fascinating 🤓 The leaves right next to the window of my neighbours’ bathroom, which is usually open, think it’s summer while the ones further away know it is still spring 😃 #foliagefriday

Hi Katie, no it faces north east but is also shadowed by our house so it never gets any direct sunlight, ever. I’m as certain as I can be that it’s the heat from their bathroom 😃 @brightcolours

I've seen a lot around here, some have very little colour yet and some are in full swing, I suppose it depends which way it faces 🤔🤔

It’s really interesting Jane. This wall faces north-east but is shaded by our house. It had (until I cut it down) grown round the corner onto a north-west facing wall and was turning red on that side a month ago... 🤔🧐 @pelly

I know some of you grieve the end of summer but I just love this time of year 🍂 #foliagefriday

I used to grieve @awomanonabike but as I get older I really have started to love and enjoy ALL of the seasons. I think that #gardening has been the difference. Who would really want to miss out on this wonderful winding-down time of year? 😊

I'm not sure whether this is really what is meant by a microclimate 😉. The neighbours always have their bathroom window slightly ajar...the rest of this Boston Ivy is pretending it's still winter!

Probably they creep hoti neighbors window because of humid & moist environment out there..
