Tulipa clusiana 'Annika'

It’s definitely lighter so maybe shade is the reason for the difference in colour. 🤔

This is lovely. I need some small tulips for my front garden this autumn so this has gone on my wish list 🌷🌷🌷

Have a look at the other photos of it. Both Barbara and Deborah have grown them but theirs look much paler than mine 🤔 They are all lovely through @jacaranda @deborahbanks @pelly

I’ve just taken a photo of mine and posted it as the colour has hardly changed. Maybe it’s a result of the positioning? 🤔

🤔 I wonder. These are in full sun (which is very unusual in my garden 🙄😂) and actually I’ve just had a look at a few that are a bit shaded by surrounding thugs and they do look a bit paler. I’ll grab a photo in a min @jacaranda

I've had a look at Barbara's and one or two websites and one of them says it starts off pale pink and matures to a deep pink 🤔 @jacaranda

Mine’s decided to buck the trend and do the opposite as it’s getting slightly paler not darker 😂😂 @pelly
