Sunny day then late afternoon 💛 I’ve grown these before but only in pots. Hoping these ones will be happy here and make it their permanent home 💚💛 #tulipa-turkestanica
I was just looking back at my old posts of this tulip and saw that I had hoped to come down to Pottertons some time. That would still be good but Covid has played with time 🙄😂 @pelly
It certainly has Jacqueline. I've still not made it there either. One day maybe.....😚
Then we need to make a plan… I will put my thinking hat on 🎩🤔 @pelly
That sounds like a great idea 👍

Such a little sweetie 💛 This is the only one left from several I bought a few years ago. I blame the bank voles, again... 🙄 #tulipa-turkestanica
They’re so cute, such a shame you’ve only got one left Jacqueline
I know but better than none Sarah 😃@sieveheadsarah

22 Mar 2019 • Really enjoying these little beauties bouncing around in the breeze. I’ve never grown them before and would love to know if they would be as happy if I planted them in the ground 🤔 Any thoughts peeps?
Mine are in the ground, but I'm thinking of moving them as they're at the top of the garden and I can't see them, will probably still put them in the ground though. 👍🏼😀
Thanks Sarah. I might do that in the autumn. I just think they might do better in subsequent years in the ground 🤔
Definitely worth a try 👍🏼

5 Mar 2019 • The first of these to flower. I’ve never grown them before but already love them #tulipa-turkestanica
Very pretty Jaq @awomanonabike
I had some in my other house, they are lovely
I must have planted my bulbs too deep they don’t even look like flowering...😆🌷🌷💛
Isn't that lovely, is that one from Pottertons Jacqueline? 🤔🤔
Thanks Joanne They are very sweet aren’t they @hobnob
It was probably you whose post I saw of them Jayne. Will you get some more? @jaynehynesburton
These are early tulips Elaine. Most of mine are still snug underground 🙄@wagsmomthompsonbtinternetcom
Thanks Jane. How did you guess? 🤔😂 I was just looking at their catalogue earlier.. @pelly
Oh yes definitely
You put me on to them last year and I ordered a few plants from them 👌👌
They’re in Lincolnshire aren’t they Jane. Are they far from you? I’d love to visit. I think they do an open day. I’m definitely going to order a few more bulbs from them for next year 😍 @pelly

13 Oct 18 • Thanks to Sarah for these as it was after her post that I added them to my wishlist @sieveheadsarah
Before I read your comment I was thinking, ooh I've got those 👍🏼👍🏼 glad you got some, I hope mine come back next year 😀
I’m really looking forward to them. Just need to get them all planted now... @sieveheadsarah
😂😂 And don’t even think of looking at Pottertons website, or you’ll end up buying them too 😉😬 @suzyw
I'm sure I remember reading that they like a sheltered site 👍🏼
Thanks Sarah. I think these are going to go in a pot and eventually to the windowsill outside my kitchen window 😊 @sieve
Just love how these little #tulipa-turkestanica are like weather vanes, opening when the sun shines and closing up again when it clouds over ☀️🌤⛅️🌥☁️
Lovely show💛
Thank you Elise. I’ve grown them in pots before but this is the first time I’ve grown them in the ground @Auricula
They’re like little stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️
They seem to do really well in the ground
They are aren’t they Jane 🤩 @pelly
That’s good to hear Joan 😃 I’d love them to keep going as they look lovely here @joannie.a
