28 May 2019 • Is it just me? I find it so hard to prune away so much of the vine, especially the trusses, even though I know it means more and bigger grapes. It’s like thinning the veg seedlings... #toughlove #butimagardenwimp

Oh absolutely not Jacqui. I had one in my old garden and I found it so hard to prune back enough!

It always looks so brutal, but I guess it has to be done Jacqueline 🍇🍇

I hate doing it. It’s almost as bad as thinning the peaches, which is so bad I don’t do it 😂🤣 @pelly

So you get grapes but you don't get peaches? 😂😂

We do get bigger grapes now I do this and actually the peaches are already pretty good and nature does its own pruning with the ‘June drop’ so I just leave it to nature 😉 @pelly

That sounds sensible to me but I'm still getting my head round growing flowers never mind fruit 😱😂
