Side view. So drapey! I'm sort of toying with the idea of hanging the pot so it isn't such an obstacle on the shelf.. 🤔

Looks amazing. I’m thinking of taking a space planning course for people with no more room. Looks like you’re not far behind. 😁

@philstalder yes! It used to be a lot worse until I started working vertically. At first I used cinder blocks to create tiers, which helped a little bit, but still took up a large footprint. Recently I got one of those wire grid shelving cube systems, and that's been a revelation. It's not pretty to look at, though, so it rarely makes an appearance in any photos. I'd either have to build or buy something prettier, but I'm on a crazy tight budget, and overwhelmed with projects already, so.. 🤷🏻‍

Haha, I know. I found a $15 metal shelf at ikea that has 4-5 shelves. It’s pretty ugly but it holds a lot. Another one I found on the curb from someone moving and didn’t want. Still not enough. And budget I get. It can get out of control fast. Food is still on the table though. Good luck. 😊 @beatnikcrab

@philstalder thanks, same to you! I bought one of those same Ikea metal shelves a couple years ago, but never assembled it. It's still propped up in a corner somewhere. I intended it for an indoor setup with grow lights and stuff, but never got around to it. 😬 I've also dragged home a few curbside trash shelves, some better than others. One still needs a rehab. 😂

This guy sure spread out this year! I gave it some fresh soil with a dose of slow release fertilizer a few months ago, and I think that probably has something to do with it.

Be careful with it it’s highly toxic if ingested or if pets rubbed on their body could cause burns.

Is that on the floor or on a wall. Looking at it, looks like on a wall the way it’s growing. It has to be on the floor, right. My mom’s cat died trying to eat one. Love the plant but will never have one because of that

@docthrill I disentangled it from all its neighbors and put it on my patio floor for the photo. View from above. How cute would that be if it WAS growing on a wall like that, tho! 😍 @dadayba thanks for the warning! I've got tons of deadly toxic plants, but my pupper isn't interested in the least. 🤷🏻‍♀️

That’s good. I keep mine up on top of the shelf because my furbaby likes to sniff and smell everything

Watering it would be a real trick. Lol you would have to take it down every time. The whole poisonous part is a drag for pets. Such an amazing plant. You know I love leaf patterns. I too have several poisonous plants. If I saw one in the nursery, I might bring one home. All my cats are homeless and I feed them and get a little lovin from a couple of them

@docthrill I bet it could work in a succulent wall setup. You get a wood tray, pack it with soil, top it with a dense sheet of sphagnum moss, and then secure it with chicken wire. Poke some succulents in through the chicken wire and moss, and let them root in place. Then hang it on a wall and just spray it with a hose to water, no need to take it down. 👌😊 Just keep the toxic plants higher up, or in your greenhouse, and the kitties won't be able to get them!

Been trying wall stuff, it’s the only place I can put more plants. Kitties never go in the greenhouse anyway. And my dog Little Blue only goes in there to relieve himself, lol 😆

@docthrill I have a one of those hanging basket watering wand. It helps me water the top shelves in ease.
