04/08/19 - a bulb! 😄 although one grown mostly by Succulent enthusiasts. I bought these for £1.50 from my local garden club plant sale. Unfortunately upon closer inspection when I got home they were riddled with mealy bugs. So I thought I’ve little to lose and separated all the bulbs, took a scalpel and cut off all the roots, all the foliage, all the tired looking papery tunics surrounding the bulbs and soaked them in isopropyl solution for 30 minutes. I then planted them on a bed of well

Thanks! I took a risk as at the time had no experience with them, but they are bulbs at the end of the day and I thought I’d try it as they’d have a bit of energy inside to regenerate. And it worked! 😁 @cyndi

Thanks John 🙏🏼 and yes, will do. Will probably bring them indoors nearer winter unless I can get my heated greenhouse purchased before then @johninbrighton

Too bad about the #mealybug #infestation, but they look great now. I do love mine. They have a pretty little flower. 💗
