Opuntia

I took some succulent cuttings to my friends' house, and investigated their blooming Opuntia. Turns out it's an #OpuntiaTomentosa (it's velvety). A piece had fallen off, and they didn't want it, so now IT'S MINE. I've never seen a bee go catatonic in a flower before, but they said they all do it on this cactus. 🤷🏻‍♀️ This bee sat there motionless for about a minute while I snapped a few photos, and then took off. Another bee in a neighboring flower was doing the same. 🐝 #beemagnet #sunlover
