The very etoliated new growth on my #pricklypear cuttings has like seven new bits growing from it I couldn't believe my eyes. Now that is gonna look super strange. Funny I was about to cut this elongated growth off. Not now

I was so worried about this big af guy. Its so droopy and heavy but its growing so i guess hes ok and will just need a lil help being propped up. So much #newgrowth #pricklypear I cant believe they can stay outside for a pgh winter. I didn't try it tho lol

But not snow u know @philstalder its so wet and dreary here in the winter it just always suprises me. They like flop over on themselves.

I thought this was a little caterpillar crawling on it but omg its a new pad! Lile wrapping around the paddle? Weird but so cute. It also has a new growth u can see the brighter green in the background. I really hope this starts to plump up and stand up straight come summer. But it's droopy but is growing so thats a good sign #newgrowth #pricklypear

I know they can because I can even grow them outside here in pa they just fold over on themselves to protect from the cold. We will see how it fares once outside in the sun #newgrowth
