My thanksgiving cactus is still blooming even though some buds are already dropping.. 🙂🌸

And still lots more that may open 😍 all the buds dropped from mine once I potted it on after buying it 😢

@kez001uk believe me I have made the same mistake on potting it straight away. Mum in law told me buds dropped because they are quite sensitive being moved or repotted. Had to get a few more to attempt doing it right, hehe 😅💕

@bellabells I had no idea about them not liking being moved 🙈 will it recover and bloom again next year once it’s settled? I love your reasoning to get more 😉 I may use that one myself to explain my excessive plant buying 😅

@kez001uk I am hoping some of mine will recover too..thinking to repot in spring. Well I guess we just gotta learn more and more as we go.. 😊🌸

@kez001uk Lidl always have a lovely bargain. I do check every now and then.. I saw thanksgiving cactus at Asda and Wilkinson but they were a bit more pricy.. x

@bellabells I see a lot of people on here getting plants from Morrison’s but I don’t live near one so miss all those. But now I know Lidl sell them I can check on occasion, thank you 😁 I looked online and the prices were ridiculous! But the colour of this one makes it even better 😍

@kez001uk I am not close to Morrisons but when I get the chance to drop by I do make sure I grab some pots on offer. Bought my primroses there for 50p each pot.. at least I am close to Lidl they usually got fair deals.. where do you usually buy your plants and seedlings?

@bellabells 50p 😧 I paid almost £20 for 5 tiny primula plants back in August 😔 most of mine I buy from online stores like Thompson & Morgan. They do have some great deals at the end of seasons. Other than that I check Tesco but it’s not as good value as most other supermarkets
