Small narrow garden behind a family house with an even smaller fish pond in a village in the middle of Europe. It's a great place to relax.

The last phase of #ivy #flowering. I made this photo of the #seedpods a couple days ago. Now there is nothing. @leaskp1 @moorna #hedera #hederahelix #ivyflowering

Wow, very interesting. Did it take all winter for the seeds to develop? Thanks for sharing

You're welcome @moorna @leaskp1 @gjones. I added #ivyflowering to all my feeds about this so you can see all phases easily. It began to #bloom in the late summer and #seedpods were there all winter until mid spring. But not many blossoms have reached this stage.

I will have to enjoy your ivy from afar. It is very invasive here so I won’t be planting any but it’s very interesting to see the seed development. Thanks for educating me. 😃

I do have ivy (actually, it's my neighbours') but I prune it so often it probably won't have a chance to flower. Invasive it is! Before, I had a whole fence so overgrown with ivy, my garden was half the size it is now 🤔

You are absolutely right Marianne @moorna, Ken @leaskp1. It grows really fast. Ivy mainly covers the huge shadowed neighboring wall in my backyard where I have to cut it at least once a year if I don't want a yard one meter smaller 😉. But still better than just that boring wall. But it doesn't bloom here. The pictures are from another plant on the yard that hasn't been pruned for several years. It probably needs 'older wood' and maybe more sun for flowering.

It blooms just on the upper parts where is enough of sunshine and plants are more than twenty years old. I'll document the progress. @leaskp1
