Good morning GTers! It's nice to finally see my favourite #cosmos looking so pretty in my garden! So pleased I grew them from seed this year! Have a wonderful weekend everyone! 😀
Morning Ian , you too ☺️
Good morning Ian 😀 I love the colour 😊🙌
@juliesgarden - Morning Julie! 😀
@harebell - Morning Della! It's a lovely colour isn't it? 😀
So classy 😊🙌
Very delicate colours
@ada31514 - I couldn't agree more Angie! Very understated but very beautiful I think! 😀
I’ve grown cosmos from seed this year for first time and am waiting to see what colours they produce. Didn’t keep packets. I tried orange ones last year but was unsuccessful.
Very unusual, lovely 💛
@ada31514 - Oh I'm very dedicated to the art of label making, so I can keep track of my seeds! I usually grow three or four varieties of Cosmos so the labels definitely help! Good luck with yours and hope you get some lovely colourful flowers! 😀
@sadieberg - Thanks Vivien! I'm always on the look out for different varieties to photograph, and have had my eyes on these for a while! Well worth the wait I think! 😀

Nothing to see here, just cataloguing... The #cosmos 'Xanthos' seedlings are growing into lovely strong plants! 😀 #seedling
I'm growing this one for the first time this year and all my seedlings are growing really well! 😀👍🏼😀
@sieveheadsarah - I've been going to try these for a couple of years Sarah, and am really glad I got the seeds this year! Just wish there had been more of them! 😀
I only discovered this one last year, I grow the usual Cosmos but this was a had to have one, I have great expectations for it. Hopefully you can collect the seeds and then have lots more next year?? 👍🏼🤔👍🏼
@sieveheadsarah - Last year was the first time I saw seeds for sale, but plug plants have been available for a while! I guess growers wanted to get their seed stock up! Oh yes, definitely collect the seeds! I meant to do that for my Bright Lights variety last year and completely forgot! 😀
I've not been very successful with Bright Lights, nothing last year and just 4 from about 15 seeds this year. I look forward to comparing them and the Xanthos with yours!
@sieveheadsarah - If I remember correctly I was late in the season and sowed my Bright Light seeds directly into the ground! I had over half of the seeds germinate and they looked great against my newly painted black fence! 😀
Just looked at your pics and yes the certainly do look great against the black fence!! 😀
@sieveheadsarah - Hehe! Thanks Sarah! 😀
Love the pastel yellow
@kathy - Me too Kathy, and they'll go really well with the dark red variety I've also grown whose name escapes me at the moment! 😀

Cataloguing - Cosmos 'Xanthos' seeds have germinated! 😀 #seedling #springtime
Absolutely Love these 😊
@katgreen - I've been going to try these for the last couple of years and am really looking forward to seeing them bloom! 😀
@bigemrg they make fabulous cut flowers and repeat flower for ages 😊
Good morning GTers! Back to uploading photos from last year! This was definitely a favourite #cosmos of mine! Have a magnificent Monday everyone! 😀 #yellow
Morning Ian...what lovely colours , have a great day 😎
@juliesgarden - Good morning Julie! Yes, they're rather lovely aren't they? Have a good one too! 😀
Good morning Ian a lovely sunny day to match your flower🤗
Wowee!! 💛
@godfreye - Morning Enid! Thanks! Yes, it's beautiful and sunny here too! 😀
@brightcolours - Thanks Katie! 😀
What a beautiful touch of the palest lemon 😍😍
@pelly - Lovely aren't they Jane? I've actually got a variety called Lemonade to sow this year which look very similar but are seemingly a bit more lemony! 😀
Now they sound interesting, it's one of my favourite colours 💛💛
It’s very pretty!!! Nice you bought some similar 😊💕
@terrimclaughlin - Thanks Terri! Yes, I just need to find some time to sow them! 😀
