Help me identify this plant - Found this growing in one of dad's flower beds yesterday and wondered what it was! Some sort of tree maybe? I know one of you good GT peeps will know! #plantid
Lonicera nitida maybe ( shrub honey suckle )
Looks similar to my st johns wort, 🤔🤓🕵
@Hut123456789 - Thanks Zoe but I think the leaves are a little too big for that! I think Ash has it right! 😀
@ashfire777 - Thanks Ash I think that's spot on! It must have self seeded from one the neighbours have! 😀
Its a gorgeous wee plant when it flowers :)
@ashfire777 - Will have to remove it from dad's flower bed but it may find its way into my garden! 😀
Its a nice addition to any garden :) x
Yep this is a hypericum, great shrub. It can either be cut down to the ground in spring for all fresh growth or just trimmed but it doesn't perform as well
@lewish - Thanks for the confirmation and the advice Lewis! 😀
Think it's Tutsan (Hypericum androsaemum) a native shrub.
@tiggrx - Thanks Aaron! I like homing in on the specifics! I'll update the ID! 😀
Good afternoon GTers! Don't have anything #yellow in the garden other than Daffs at the moment, so here's a #tutsan bush bloom from last spring! Hope everyone is having a super Saturday! 😀 #hypericum
Good afternoon Ian pretty flower 🤗
@godfreye - Afternoon Enid! Yes, they're rather nice aren't they? 😀
Another beauty 👍🏻👍🏻🤗😊💕
@terrimclaughlin - Thanks Terri! 😀

@telswirld - Hehe! I guess they are! 😀
So beautiful!😍
@cpl721 - Thanks Donna! 😀
