Iris pseudacorus

Good morning GTers! My Flag #iris seem to be doing well this year, despite my pond having a lack of water! 😀 #irispseudacorus

Morning Ian, irises are on my autumn list to plant. Thats a nice variety

@solly1961 - They make a great addition Mark, especially for structure! This variety has a tenancy to take over an area if not controlled! 😀

There are smaller versions too, I see. Need to fit in between shrubs once I get an idea of colour scheme, height etc..

Good evening all! I know we were all desperate for some rain, but can it please stop now? At least my #yellow flag #iris seem to be enjoying the damp conditions! 😀

@jadojado29 - Good evening Suzie! Well I've been sat at the computer in my office looking through rain streaked windows at my soaking wet garden for two days straight now! The forecast is for more of the same for the next few days too! 😀

@rachelbrooks - Good evening Rachel! It's just annoying that you can't get on and do anything as everything is wet! At least my arms have had a rest from lugging watering cans around! 😀

Evening Ian same here sopping wet dried out at teatime so I grabbed an hour after work and put a couple of poppies in that Id done from seed but have quite a list of jobs to do and never seems to go down 🙄
