@Di007 - There's certainly lots popping up at the moment - especially those darn weeds! My garden isn't too bad as it's mostly pots and containers, but dad's garden that I also tend is just incredibly wet and the soil is so heavy! We really need a few days of sustained sunshine to dry everything out! 😀

@bigemrg .......they can self seed where ever they want as far as I'm concerned. Great pic.......just love them :)

@bigemrg @flof1952 I love the Welsh yellow poppy but you can have too much of a good thing. I've fought a losing battle with them for 30 yrs. At first I thought they're beautiful so left them all. Next year an explosion and they were everywhere. The problem here is the wind is so strong & frequent that they're blown everywhere and start growing in places you cannot get them out from. Fully grown they have a huge taproot so I take them out when I see them. Love them but I have to cull them.

@angipangi - I guess I'm lucky that most of my garden is pond, and that's about the only place they definitely won't grow! 😀

The gardens round here have an abundance of these. The birds are busy 😊
