@pelly - Keep losing connection, notifications go quiet - then I get 10 at once, like and comment counts are always 0 or 1 on the main stream, the popular stream is stuck, err, and a few others I can't remember off the top of my head! 😀

Good afternoon GTers! Brrr, it's chilly out there today! Here's a shot of my favourite flower from this year, which I was very apprehensive about growing when I received the bulbs from a friend! So, I guess my best #advice would be to try growing something new, you never know, you might surprise yourself! 😀

I remember you getting these and they turned out lovely! That’s great advice...although not everything I tried this year turned out as lovely as these! 😁

@rachelbrooks - Thanks Rachel! I must admit that I had my fair share of disappointments, but they only served to educate me of the mistakes I made! These were definitely the high point of the year though! 😀

@charlottejhurst - They certainly are Charlotte! The bulbs are the biggest I've ever seen, at between four and five inches long! They're more likely light bulbs than plant bulbs! lol 💡😁

Hilliers had them and grew the bulbs against one of those lovely trees with the bronze flaky bark. they looked stunning

Good evening all! Finally it stopped raining so I spent the whole day in the garden! Got lots done and my growhouse is almost empty! Can't wait for this Portuguese Squill to open! Shouldn't be too much longer now! Oh, and it's now raining again! 😀

Evening Ian, you must feel great at having achieved so much. It was glorious here until around 7pm then the rain started and is forecast for the next 24hrs. 🌨🌨🌨

Good evening all! This is the last upload for now! These #scilla Peruviana bulbs were a gift from a friend that I design book covers for! He brought them back from the Scilly Isles and thought I may be able to grow them! They are by far the biggest bulbs I've ever seen at nearly five inches in height! Hope I can do them justice! 😀
