Developing my knowledge all the time. I love growing plants: barely any space on my windowsills, nor on my patio as it's full of pots. #renting.

Help me identify this plant #plantid anyone know what this is? It’s growing in my lawn, very close to bird feeders so don’t know if it’s from birdseed? 🤷‍♀️

Really not sure but it looks a lot like some of my day Lilly bulbs 🤞😊 @bluefox23

I've seen some growing out of stones next to tram line this summer so never say never 😂 I'm probably wrong tho @anges @bluefox23

I wonder whether I should dig it up and repot it or leave it to see what it does?! I have definitely not planted day lily bulbs in my lawn!! 🤷‍♀️😂 @louisesimpson @anges

I was amazed @anges 😳 but short of doing a GI Jane off the tram I couldn't see how they had managed it 😂

Maybe someone had just chucked them out of the train! 😁 @louisesimpson

I think it might be linaria purpurea. I have some growing in cracks between my paving stones. No idea how they can survive on so little soil but it's flowered non-stop since June. 💜

@ublaszko I think you might be right. No idea how that’s got there. Not got any in my garden so I can only assume it’s a free gift from the birds. Do you think I should dig it up and pot it up somewhere else? Will it survive the winter? Or is it more weedlike and best to get rid? 😊
