I have a ton of this coming get up around my garden. It it also called "false indigo"? And how do you control all the "volunteers"?

@berryderre Sorry for my ignorance, but what are "volunteers?"

The little ones that germinate in odd places around the garden. I have the "mother" plant and probably 20 babies that are popping up. I am planning to just clip the seed pods and see if that helps.

@berryderre I don't have much trouble with that because in general my plants are clustered together and so there are other plants surrounding this one. I think accidental germination is less common for me. I also believe, but I could be wrong, that this plant spreads by rhizomes as well.
