Allium 'Globemaster'

Allium Globemasters just starting to turn. Allium Blue Azureum a disappointment. Only 16 flowers out of 200 bulbs!

I had the blue a couple of years ago and they never even appeared 😮

What a shame. All that work. Still it’s a very smart display

@pelly I think I will try some purple sensation in their place next year. Although not as many as they are bigger

This allium looks like a bit of a dud. Does anybody know what is wrong with it?

Is it stunted? I can't tell from the photo - maybe it wasn't planted deep enough....

It’s the first year I’ve planted there after builders in the garden so I think ‘not deep enough’ is the winning answer 🥳

Mine rotted, I was gutted. I've splashed out and ordered one in a pot

Gutted! I’m hoping our come back year after year. As a lot of money for one season.
