#mushroom-oyster, it was drying out outside, so I decided to bring it to my bathroom
Very very very impressive @buzzygems
Be careful of you bringing them indoors, I would be too worried that the spores spread in the bathroom. In a very damp place
Cant build a greenhouse for it,I don't have the space. And its drying out in the tropical greenhouse. Dunno what to do @jamescalli
Cover with cardboard, poke holes in it first , that'll keep the moisture from escaping. Cover with a bag too if the cardboard doesn't do a great job, but I think it'll be enough. Mushrooms work best with very low light so even if the bag is opaque , or milky it'll still grow. . Hope this helps. Just to prevent any possible spore contamination in the house, those things travel. It really isn't worth the risk. They get into clothes damp clothes or spots of your house you never.knew was damp.
Even if they do live on decaying matter ie wood, or damp clothes, it would only aid in the weakening of your structure <3 hugs
Wow!!Didn't know all these. Thank you @jamescalli
So cool!
Looking good, but a bit scary after what James said! 😲
I wont be deterred thou. He also gave good tips regarding the cardboard. So I'm gonna do just that. It's fun to know you can grow it @jeatacake
It's certainly looking good & I can't wait to see it develop 👍
#mushroom #fungi this grew on my greenhouse door, result of too much rain and wet wood. Dunno the name of this one or if its edible
Not sure I'd risk it!
😆😆😆 not risking it either @jeatacake
