My one and only #agapanthus flower looking striking against the #crocosmia #happyaccident #colourcombo or #colourclash ?! Happy Wednesday everyone - stay dry!
But it's a beautiful one 💙💙💙 morning Carole, lovely photo 😍
Thank you @juliesgarden 😊
Fabulous colour combo! 👌🏼 and you've one more than me! 😆
That's smashing!! Our local nursery had exactly that display, very impressed 👍🏻
Thank you lovelies @rachelbrooks and @pottybird42 😊this was my surprise one as the ones in the pots decided not to make an appearance! And I've already confessed it was a happy accident so I can't claim any praise for the display 😉
Well it was a very prominent combo at Chelsea so you're in good company! 👌🏼👍🏼😉

Despite the failure of my pot grown #agapanthus I found this in the border whilst having a hack back 😊😊first time flowering - happy Thursday everyone
Yaaay , that's a great find Carole, enjoy your day ☺️☺️
Thanks @juliesgarden you too!
Lovely find Carole I wish I'd bought the ones I spotted the other day now but I was on my bike and they were very tall so probably would have ended badly 🙄 😁
@daisy-jane awh you should have risked it for the comedy factor alone 😂😂this one hasn't flowered for 3 years and I'd forgotten about it so the sooner you buy one the better - they are a long haul to establish! Despite growing like weeds in the banks of Cornwall!
I just might go back for it but on foot,I got a couple of 4ft goldcrest conifers a couple of months ago and was on the bike and yip couldn't see a bloody thing coming home the hubby watched me coming down the street and was just laughing his ass off 🙄😂😂 glad you found yours and it's always the case we wait so patiently for something to bloom and then come across them growing like weeds in unexpected places 😁😁
@daisy-jane as long as hubby didn't have his camera at the ready! 😂😂you can deny everything!
I'm glad he didn't Carole,he probably wishes he carried one all the time with the amount of clumsy things I've done,I was watching the planes fly over my house from the local airshow a few years back and was looking up walking backwards and ended up in my son's 10ft swimming pool fully clothed with phone in hand,I think the hubby actually stopped breathing between gasps of air laughing at me 🙄😂😂
Awh my goodness @daisy-jane he could have gone viral with that one! 😂😂😂😂😂#youtubesensation 😂😂😂
Looked like a right numpty lol and don't give him ideas 😂😂😂
😂😂😂@daisy-jane 😂😂😂 my 3 daughters are much worse than my husband - he's not stupid! I've had to threaten them with all sorts of violence and publishing of nude baby pictures to stop them facebooking some videos of me, especially the one of me screaming swearing and chasing a dog with a BBQ tong up a hill because it had my duck in its mouth?! Bet no one has ever written that sentence before 😂😂😂
I just dribbled my drink down my chin reading that Carole 😂😂😂 did you get your duck back 🙄😂😂😂

#tuesday #specialplant no other plant in my entire garden gets as much attention lavished on it 🤗 fed and watered better and more regularly than my husband 😂😂 #precious
#agapanthus
I tried to grow a midnight purple version of this and only had 2 leaves pop up really struggling.. Could you offer any advice? This one is beautiful! 😍
Thank you @wesleybrian I didn't have anything for a year or two then I read that they need to be watered daily, feed weekly a tomato feed and they like to be constructed in a pot! And then they went crazy! Give it a go and good luck!!

Took 3 years to get flowers from this agapanthus - read they need loads of water and feeding last year and it was lovely and looking hopeful for this year..
Hi Carole I've just got buds coming on mine. it's taken two years since I bought it . I Feed it with tomato feed perhaps that did the trick
Yes think your right @pob after two years of nothing feeding tomato feed last year paid off and I had a lovely show.. So fingers crossed for this year too!
@agapanthus doing it’s thing!
