Just love these appropriately named #snakesheadfritilleria and excited to find them #springscoming honestly! #bestoffeb
I love these, I must have a look if mine are showing yet 😍😍😍
Beautiful 😍🌸💮
Morning Carole..love these 🐍
I love these too. Canāt wait for mine to start to appear.
Afternoon @juliesgarden 👋 I was really surprised @pelly as (according to the date on GardenTags - Iām loving being able to compare) it was a month later last year.. thank you @RedFuchsia - oh go searching @awomanonabike you never know! 🐍
They are there Carole but just look like green sticks at the moment. They will come, I just need to be patient 🙄
@awomanonabike Iām afraid we arenāt that patient after this winter are we 😉
You can say that again. Iām usually pretty good at enjoying everything that each season has to offer but I have truly had enough of winter this year ā¹ļø
Same here @awomanonabike always try to find the positive in everything and enjoy the seasons as they are but definitely running out of steam.. might be to do with a couped up 5 year old, (there is only so much Lego I can get enthusiastic about 😜) boggy chicken run, and horses wrecking the field!? Roll on spring
They have appeared Carole, just the shoots, no flowers yet 🎉🎉🎉

Oh blimey high praise indeed @angiecrazycatlady 😂😂
Beautiful ā¤ļø

Morning Carole! I've got a couple of these knocking around! Still pretty! 😀
Looking forward to seeing it open @bigemrg 😊
Lovely colours there in the background too Carole! 💙
The white are more rare, gorgeous
My first @Jasonsparkes1 Awh thanks @tash74 had a go at a bulb lasagna 😂😂😂 ah so they are a thing then @joanboston I thought it was maybe a problem.. thatās good to know!
Morning Hun what a great find have a fabulous day āŗļø
They are indeed a thing Carole. Ive got a few but always prefer the checkered ones although the white make a nice contrast @joanboston
Ooh lovely! I had a couple too. Didnāt realise that they did that either!
Awh thanks @nessas hope youāve had a lovely day too, oh yes have to agree @jendren itās the markings that I love too, everyday is a learning day on here isnāt it @rachelbrooks 😊😊😊

The afternoon sunshine really brought these out yesterday - one of my favourite spring flowers - have a great good Friday everyone 😊😊
You too Carole. I love these too but mine are a bit slow this year 😍😍
Morning Carole spotted one of mine yesterday so pretty such great markings 🐍 have a fab day 😚
I saw my first flowerbud yesterday Jane @pelly
Woohoo 👍👍
Yes these seem slow this year too @pelly but itās so cold, normally on good Friday we bbq in the garden or at the beach but today fire is lit and itās indoor play - feels like Christmas?! Hope it warms up enough for you to see them open up soon @nessas and @ukblaszko - have a fabby day too!
Ooo must look for mine I bought a pot of them last year in the reduced section cause they were just finished flowering!! 😂
Me too Carole, thank you 😊😊
Beautiful colour, Carole! Have a lovely Easter 😘 @carolecuttingitfine
One of my favourites too, though mine are nowhere near flowering yet 💜🖤💜
Mine are in pots on the deck which when we get done is a sun trap @awomanonabike although looking a little sorry for themselves this morning?!
I bet they are, arenāt we all 😉 I donāt have any in pots but as they are spreading I could try that 🤔

#snakesheadfritillary fighting back through the snow yesterday - hopefully see the last of it today and a chance to check for damage...
Ahh.. getting excited now for the mass exhibition of spring flowers over the next few weeks. Lovely pic 👌🏼
Thank you @richard.spicer.7906 and yes all those fabby spring colours are coming!
Such beautiful, old fashioned flowers 💕

My first time of successfully growing these #snakesheadfritillary they are so delicate, beautiful and surprisingly snake like!
They are aren't they, gorgeous 😊
Fab Carole, first time for me too , so pretty
So far only leaves are showing on mine. They have been slow to establish in my garden, but I am hoping for a few more blooms this year.
Such a pretty, old fashioned (in a good way!) flower. First time I've tried as well...they're taking their time!! 😬
Totally agree @titchyfra - I think @juliesgarden #gardentags is inspiring us to to try lots of new things! And @emve I've tried in the ground but these are in pots, on the deck which is warmer and a lot better if that helps, shall we say retro @rachelbrooks and make ourselves "on trend" 😂😂 although marketing types will add £££'s if we use that word 😂😂
Dislike snakes 🐍.......but love this plant 😍 @carolecuttingitfine
Totally agree @jacq1075 I've no fear of anything except snakes 🐍😱can't even watch them on tv 📺!
Very elegant 👌
Vintage maybe..? āŗļø😉 like fine wine! And snakes are beautiful - so smooth to the touch and very gentle 🐍💚
Nope - still not convinced @rachelbrooks - I've jumped out of planes, raced cars at high speed, rode pillion on super bikes but still can't look at let alone touch a snake!
Fair enough! 😬👍🏼I'd rather have a snake than a Surinam toad - coz they are just freaky! 😱😱😱
#snakesheadfritillary are absolutely fascinating arenāt they! Hope youāve all had a glorious weekend āļø
Morning Carole.. love them !!
I love these so much!
Evening @juliesgarden 👋🏼 me too! They are so lovely arenāt they @emch
