Lilium (Asiatic)

Love these #white #lilies but not as much as the lily beetle! Wow they have been ferocious this year!

Did you see the bloke from Kew talking about them on GW a few weeks ago? Fascinating. Pick one up and it makes a noise that the others hear and they all drop off and lie on their backs until they think you’ve gone when they turn over and get back to work 🙃

I did @awomanonabike I kinda gave up picking them off another lily in a pot after that!? I was defeated by the clever little bugs!?

Well they haven’t spoiled this flower or the scent either 👌

I got so fed up with them I dug all my lilies out 😥😥
