Brightening up a dark corner of the garden #yellow

I love the flowers on these but I just don't like the foliage, I've found one that doesn't have the prickly leaves called Soft Caress which I would quite like to get 💛💛

I have a couple of these which are actually self seeded, such a bright yellow 😍

This #mahonia is loving the light after I hacked back the rambling rose that was overshadowing it!
