Oh no. They don’t look evil in the photo. Thought maybe their bark was worse than their bite but that would be painful if they are really sharp. I would never survive such a plant. I would fall into it never to be seen again. Seriously my hubby is on blood thinners so I could not own a plant like that. It is beautiful though. 🙀🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

@hkyfvr I definitely wouldn’t recommend it for your husbands sake! I can’t even pick up fallen leaves without thick gloves 😜 it’s lovely in the right place - nowhere near a human 😆

He has to be very careful. I think we are just so used to it now. I was on a medication that made my skin thinner and I got some awful cuts. Glad I am not on it anymore. They don’t tell you these side effects when they prescribe it. 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

@hkyfvr there are some steroids that do that and you’re never told until you hurt yourself! It’s insanity when you could really do yourself some damage unknowingly 😖

@gjones the flower spikes look so interesting! Excited to see it in bloom, hopefully this winter as it’s a decent size plant. I must say it’s not one to get too close to! My arms look like a cat attacked me 🤣

@ublaszko I got this from www.norfolkqualityplants.co.uk - was only £10.95 too and it’s a really big plant. I buy as many of my plants as I can from them as they’re always a great size and so healthy. Can’t recommend them enough!

It looks to be a good size and perhaps there will be flowering stems too 💛💛💛
