Morning @juliesgarden hope you're keeping dry today - only the ducks loving it here! 💦💦💦💦
juliesgarden
We've had a shower , but I need real rain so dry here now !! 😬
brighton
Dya know if it can be pruned? Mines a bit overgrown
carolecuttingitfine
It's been biblical here in Devon today @juliesgarden ... I'm not sure @brighton this one is about 30 feet.. But is shooting at the bottom so I would have thought so
brighton
O.m.g. 30 ft!!! I hope mine doesn't grow that tall. Thank u

Ha ha @brighton best get pruning then!! Ours is against a beech and chestnut hedge so doesn't look out of place
Lovely to see some new growth on the #pieris especially after the hedge around was hacked back 💪 have a lovely day 😊
Mahonia or pieris Carole 🤔😘 @carolecuttingitfine
@jacaranda whoops yes you are right, the pieris or the mahonia are the only two trees I didn’t cut back in the hedge and despite knowing exactly which is which have muddled them bit like when I call the children by the wrong name 😂😂😂😂 thank you 🙏
You’re welcome, Carole 😘😘 By the way, your pieris is gorgeous 😍 Mine is refusing to flower or, in fact, do anything at all. I’ll have to give it a good talking to and threaten it with the compost heap 🤣 @carolecuttingitfine
😂😂 @jacaranda they just seem to do well here, must be the damp conditions.. they must have webbed roots 😉 they certainly don’t get any attention!
