Trying out some new hot peppers this year. This is a variety from Basque. The peppers will turn a nice red colour.
@CheerfulandLiterate Are these a heirloom ? I’m always looking out for heirloom variety peppers 🌶. Being a true pepperoholic I just can’t help myself. Good luck with this one. Tom 🍀🍀🍀
@CheerfulandLiterate I did some looking up on these French beauties. From what I see they are heirloom so hope you save the seeds for next year if they are to your taste. Tom
@tkept Yes, I think you are right, Tom, they are heirloom. I am going to try to start all my hot peppers from seed next year, since I like unusual types. The seedlings I got this year were fine but I think I can do just as well myself.

@CheerfulandLiterate I think you are right. Saving seeds on stuff you like gives you more opportunities to try different varieties.
