Physalis

My ground cherries are doing well. I have two types, Aunt Molly's and this one, which the seed source just calls Golden Berries. The Aunt Molly's are smaller but are already starting to fall. These ones are still a ways from being ripe, but are supposed to be larger. I think that the lanterns are prettier than the Aunt Molly's.

This is a #groundcherry I grew from seed. Source: #gretasorganic. The leaves are huge. It is a late bloomer-- no flowers yet. The variety is called "Goldie." I grew several plants and they are all doing well, although a couple are being munched on by beetles. Have been looking under the leaves each day to try to keep the issue under control.

This is looking very green and healthy.
