Help me identify this plant. Flowering bush we inherited.

Evening city_girl. I think this could be a variety of the shrub 'weigela', with the full name of 'weigela Florida variegata'. The 'variegata' bit means it has two or more colours in it's leaves so it's 'varied'. Florida is the actual name of this variety of the plant.
